The highlight of this festival is the focus on promoting and developing Vietnamese specialty coffee, gradually making Buon Ma Thuot, Dak Lak province a destination of world coffee.This is also an opportunity to promote, introduce the image, potential, strengths and to invite investment, trade and tourism projects of the province.
Within the framework of the Festival, there are also many other practical activities such as: Dak Lak Provincial Investment Promotion Conference in 2019; Coffee Specialized Fair – Exhibition; Vietnam Specialty Coffee Development Workshop; World Coffee History Exhibition; Photo Exhibition “44 years of victory of Buon Ma Thuot – Historical Routes”; Street Festival; Farmer’s Competition; Vietnam Specialty Coffee Competition; Opening of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Book Road; Buon Don Elephant Festival; dugout boat race; traditional ceremonies and festivals of ethnic minorities performance in the province; Tay Nguyen Food Festival; introduction of coffee tours and tours: experiencing, discovering the process of planting, caring, producing, processing and enjoying coffee; ecological, cultural and adventure tours… in the province.
Visitors came to the Fair – Coffee Specialized Exhibition at the 6th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2017.
Accompanying and contributing to the success of the Festival are the sponsors who have made positive and practical contributions to the Festival together with the province. In the past time, the Organizing Committee has called and mobilized sponsors for the Festival throughout the country. So far there have been 3 Diamond sponsors and 6 Gold sponsors for the Festival. Accordingly, the units include: Trung Nguyen Coffee Group Joint Stock Company, Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, Xuan Thien Dak Lak Company Limited have officially become a Diamond Sponsor for the 7th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2019. Gold Sponsors include: Vietnam Coffee Corporation, Vingroup Group – Vincom Retall Joint Stock Company, Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank), Viettinbank, T&T Group.
On this occasion, Vietnam Airlines (Vietnam Airlines – equivalent to the Gold sponsor) and Jetstar Pacific Airlines (equivalent to the Silver sponsor) were the two official shipping sponsors for the 7th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2019.
